From a small white parrot to the blue hero who made swiss history
It was never intended this way, but Globi—originally created as a children’s character by the advertising department of the Globus department store—soon took flight and captivated an entire nation.

Did you know that it all began with these words?

An egg lies still, left alone;Deep in the desert sands unknown.
The day is hot, the sun beats down; Kri-Krack! The shell breaks all around.
Globi stands up, ready to go; Into the world, he starts to flow.
Up he soars like a Zeppelin; Whistling a tune as he dives right in.
What’s down below? Well, look at that! A sea of rooftops, a church’s hat!
What’s that bright and shining gleam? A festival? Or so it seems!
His nose detects a mix of scents; Almost crashed – what a suspense!
His head is dizzy, oh so tight; Three boys are already in sight.
And girls, oh my, what a crowd! Little Globi greets them proud!
