Two milestones wrote history. On the one hand, the year 1930 in which Morellato was founded as a manufacturer of watchstraps, which today have a leading position worldwide, and on the other hand, the year 1938 in which PHILIP WATCH was founded, with the idea to bring Swiss made watches to Italy.

From status symbol to mans of expression, from chronometer to accessory, that’s what Morellato realised in the 1990s, anticipating much in advance developments in the jewellery and watch industry. Owing to Morellato, the jewellery industry began to explore new avenues and combine diamonds, gold, precious stones and natural materials with steel, which raised the emotionality of watches and jewellery to a new level. A worldwide success that could not be stopped any more.
